Why Individual Extensions? Individual extensions allow for the greatest styling flexibility, natural look, and feel. With Individual extensions, you can put your hair high up in a ponytail, updo’s; you name it! They are easy to change and are not distinguishable from your actual hair. The only way a person would know you would have them is to feel underneath the hair at the actual attachment, which is miniscule. Many clients have significant-others that do not know they are even wearing extensions and easily pass them off as bobby pins if ever felt or seen in the hair by another person. With individual extensions, you can easily run your fingers through the scalp of your hair, relax, color, interchange, etc. Individual Extensions are Permanent Extensions; only sections need to be changed at a time
Individual extension applications generally range 100- 200 extensions for a full application, depending on your hair texture, what you want done, hair thickness, length, and hair cut you currently have (blunt-edged hair cuts, coarse hair, and thick hair require many more extensions, therefore garnering the higher range price); those things determine how many extensions you will need for a natural look. Thin/Fine hair types usually have 100-150 extensions, Normal hair is usually 200 extensions, and “very thick” hair types will generally have 200 – 300 extensions.
